Fursuit Terms of Service

Please read everything bellow to get a full understanding of my terms of service and everything that is entailed in commissioning a fursuit/fursuit parts from me.

Commission Process

  • I require a reference sheet of the character the client would like to commission a suit of. If there isn't an adequate reference sheet, I ask that you provide ample art of the character to get a good idea of what I'll be making.

  • Every client is given WIP images of their commission. I first send a "fursuit plan" to give a detailed look of what I have in mind for the commission, to confirm markings or general look of the character. After my sketch, I send WIP images during base carving, tapping, and of any fabric swatches I receive. At this point, the client should give as much input to any changes they'd like on the overall look of the commission. After this point, any large changes will be subject to an additional fee.

  • Please view my Trello for progress on your suit or message me directly to receive updates.
Clients are expected to not harass the artist regarding progress, updates, casual conversations, etc.

  • Weekends are reserved for rest or my second job/art commissions. Should I be working on a weekend, it will likely be art commissions or catching up/getting ahead on client work.

  • Every client will get finished photos of their product prior to shipping. This is the final chance for any changes, which will be discussed and subject to an additional fee depending on the change.

  • I do allow in person pick-ups, but it must be in a public area (preferably a convention) during business hours.
Should you be picking up a product from me, I will require a signature prior to turning the suit over.

Payment Information

  • All payments must be made through Square. We will only accept other payment methods under extreme conditions.

  • I require a 50% deposit on all commission types. The slot will not be placed into our regular queue until fully paid off.

  • A valid ID must be presented via email and a signed copy of the TOS will be required prior to an invoice being sent for a slot.

  • I prefer not to work with minors. Please come back when you are 18.

  • Prior to ordering fur/fabrics, I will request the commissioner's input on colors, type, etc. This is your chance to ask for any changes. If fabric/fur is ordered and then unwanted, I will require another 20% deposit to be paid for new materials. This deposit is non-refundable as well.

  • If a new character is requested prior to ordering materials, I will gladly change your commission for an additional fee that will be discussed and agreed upon by the client prior to any changes being made.

  • Payment plans are available on commissions exceeding $1000. I will accept a 50% (half of the total amount) non-refundable down payment immediately upon commissioning and then require 25% (half of the remaining amount) the next month and the final amount the month after.

Refunds & Payments

  • Upon commissioning, a 50% non-refundable material deposit is due. This is for material costs and will not be refunded if the commission is cancelled.
I allow a 3 month payment plan if necessary for the client.

  • You will be required to uphold your payment due dates. Missing more than 2 payment due dates without prior contact will result in me cancelling your commission.

  • In the event of missed due dates spanning several months, I reserve the right to withhold more than the deposit as interest (10-20% more). I understand things happen. If you need a refund, please reach out via email, twitter, or telegram and we will work out the refund civilly and correctly.

  • Harassment of the artist/business will not be tolerated. Should the client be participating in harassment, they will only be entitled to a 30% refund.

  • I reserve the right to terminate any commission for any reason.

  • Should a client become rude/pushy/intolerant/demanding at any point, I reserve the right to terminate the commission and refund 30% of the total only.

  • Should a client attempt to escalate with a forced refund, I reserve the right to log conversations/emails/social media posts/etc. and provide them as proof to the company. I also reserve the right to post said logs online in a client beware.

  • Should a client request a refund with parts made, I will either refund what wasn’t worked on or refund the client (minus the deposit) and resell the parts as is.

  • Should I be unable to pull off something I haven’t tried before, I will offer either a full or partial refund depending on how the trial product came out. Should a full refund be given, I reserve the right to sell the trial part as is.

Deadlines & Shipping

  • Deadlines are available for an additional fee to be discussed based on the date of the deadline as well as what is being created by said time.

  • There are no hard deadlines on any suit in our queue. Unless a rush fee has been paid, there is absolutely no completion date set to a client’s slot.

  • Completion dates will not be provided. The complexity and features of a commission will affect the deadline/completion date of it.

  • My average turnaround time is listed on my trello. Your commission is not guaranteed by that time, but likely completed within that time.
Fursuit commissions are shipped via UPS. I am not responsible for any damages, loss or delays. If your suit is damaged, I will gladly make repairs once the suit is shipped back to me.

  • If a fursuit is lost in transit, I am not responsible for its loss. If insurance covers the cost of the product, I will gladly discuss with the client on a refund or remake of the suit.

  • Shipping is always paid for by the commissioner. Repairs or finished product, shipping must be paid for by the commissioner.

Allergy Warning

  • All my suits come from a home around dogs and cats. I am very careful to keep everything I use away from any animals. The dogs/cats are occasionally in contact with materials and in the studio.

  • Clients are responsible for acknowledging this warning prior to commissioning and by signing this, agree they are not allergic to the listed animals.

NSFW Policies

  • If you use your suit for NSFW activities, that is perfectly fine by me, however we request you let us know as this will void your one month warranty immediately due to health concerns.

  • I will never disclose a NSFW suit to the public, however I reserve the right to show images of the features to potential clients inquiring about NSFW additions.

  • Repairs to a NSFW suit can be asked about privately in DMS or email. I will do my best to help walk you through how to fix anything on your suit including short videos on how to repair something.

Barred Fursuit Matter

  • I will not create or accept any fursuit commissions with a design that is hateful in any way.

  • I will not create any copyrighted characters. (Ex. Sonic, Pokemon, Digimon, etc.)
